MAYOR ANTHONY MASIELLO AND BUFFALO ECONOMIC RENAISSANCE CORPORATION CELEBRATE RECENT SUCCESS OF GOLDEN HIRE CONSULTING
BYTE BELT COMPANY SECURES WORKING CAPITAL

(Buffalo, NY) - Mayor Anthony Masiello and Buffalo Economic Renaissance Corporation welcomed Golden Hire Consulting, a National High Tech Sales Recruiting Firm, into the downtown "Buffalo Byte Belt" over one year ago and today they proudly join the Golden Hire staff in announcing that HSBC and the SBA have teamed up to assist the company's growth with a $50,000 working capital loan. This capital will allow the company to hire a recruiter from Rochester, who will be focused on growing a new division in Bioinformatics Sales Recruiting.

"We continue to forecast a bright future with companies like Golden Hire Consulting. Our mission remains to bolster companies through BERC's loan products and link them to on-going developments like Bioinformatics to provide growth and sustainability for Buffalo companies," the Mayor said.

Golden Hire Consulting is an international contingency recruiting firm with a search approach to technology sales and marketing. Founded by Bill Barrett in December of 2000, Golden Hire brings national companies and candidates together. Since then, Golden Hire, whose main office is located in the Brisbane Building, 403 Main St., Downtown Buffalo, has expanded into Boston, MA and hired 3 recruiters.

"You never know what you have in Western New York until you live somewhere else," said Bill, who after going away to school and starting his recruiting career in Boston, MA, decided to move back home to raise his family with wife Gina. "I got a great start in Buffalo with assistance from Algonquin Studios, BERC and by sitting on the Mayor's IT Council. People and resources like that are our greatest assets."

BERC supports business development and growth in the City of Buffalo by assisting the private sector to create and retain jobs that increase the wealth of Buffalo residents and strengthen the Buffalo economy.
